After being prompted by a certain Andy Halkyard I have resolved to make some kind of update to my site after a very long period of inactivity, too long in fact so to make up for it I have 2 wallpaper sized Images in the Image section (where else :), and possibly the first ever fully-functioning user made fighter for FS, the SF Gorgon in the downloads/ships section.
The main reason for a lack of updates can be attributed to the large number of requests I have recieved over the past few months for custom gfx and models, now I have decided to focus on 2 projects in particular, my Arsenal of Darkness campaign and the Into the Abyss campaign which I can tell you now is quite simply amazing (well I'm part of the staff, so it stands to reason :), hopefully we will have some sort of preview ready for the first act of ITA sometime soon.

I've put together some new versions of Planets 1,2,3 and 4 that use 4 separate textures so they should look fine in software render, the latest version of Cob2FS allows for smooth shaded textures so they now have a much more realistic appearence instead of the rough polygons of the old ones.

The new Probe and Vasudan mine models are now in the ships section, so go and check out the Downloads page.
In other news (allways wanted to say that :), Scott Perry is working on a POF editor, once I get my hands on it you should be prepared for some extremely cool new models that I have planned.

The Planet models are available in the downloads section, well what are you waiting for, go - download - now!
Plus the probe model that was requested by Killjoy and Zarathud will be up very soon.
4/7/99
The new Star Destroyer skin is now available in the Downloads section, the PDV Cobra.

At long last I have finally gotten a mission finnished for general release, it's quite a nice one (well I think so :), and it has a new command brief ani and one of my planet models that I am working on included so I'm sure it will be popular if only for those things. It can be obtained from this site, and at some point Xanadu's and PFS Get Noticed.

An cool new program has been released by Scott Perry, the Freespace mission manager allows you to effectively manage your FS mods and create your own VP files that can be installed when you need them, needless to say I will be making full use of this excellent piece of software and I suggest that anyone out there making a campaign that features mods to make good use of it too.
Oh yeah If you hadn't allready noticed I've uploaded 2 new skins and the GTCD Polaris to the Downloads section.
At the moment I'm attempting to design a medical installation (complete with nameplate) and doing the modified skins for the last 2 medical vessels.

Ok some new stuff, new Orion nameplates, 2 new pics in the Images section and the Pilot images section is now open with 2 new images, (Fans of Babylon 5 should like these).
2/19/99
The GTD Orion nameplates section is now open. Want somthing other than that blank plate on the side of the default Destroyer for your mission or campaign? well here's the place where you can get it, checkout the Skins section in the downloads page.

I have started work on a new model, it is quite simple and represents a Vasudan 'smart' mine developed just before the end of the V-T war. I am using the Cob 2 FS coverter for this model, the original cob file is pretty much complete but I am still not experienced in using this program (I assume it is possible to create subsystems, weapon points etc.) and I colud use some help so if anyone out there does understand the finer points of this program please explain some of it to me, I'd appreciate it.
Anyway I suppose you would like it see what it looks like so far.

The first picture has been added to the images page, hope you like it. Keep a look out for more in the near future.

I have discovered a small fault in the GTMC Daedalus ships.tbl entry, It seems to make the solar panels stop rotating and prevents you from targeting it as a subsystem, however it is corrected and everything should work fine now (I hope!).

The site is up and running, mission 1 of the Eve of the War campaign should be available soon.
